Visitor Personal Data Processing and Protection Privacy Notice

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (the “Law”), your personal data may be processed by Hersek Shipyard (the “Company”) within the scope described below.

  • Personal Data to be Processed: In accordance with our Personal Data Protection and Processing Policy; your personal data such as your Name, Surname, Turkish ID Number, Company Information, Phone Number, E-mail Address, Entry and Exit Times, Purpose of Visit, Information of the Person to be Visited, Vehicle Make, Model, Color, License Plate Number, and Security Camera Images may be processed.
  • Purpose of Processing Personal Data: Your personal data will be processed to ensure the security of our Company and its premises, and to ensure the legal, technical, and commercial-occupational security of the persons associated with our Company, in accordance with the personal data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.
  • Transfer of Processed Personal Data: Your collected personal data may be lawfully transferred to authorized public institutions and private organizations, limited to the purposes stated above and within the framework of the data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law.
  • Method and Legal Basis of Collection: Your personal data is collected physically during your visit to our company and its premises, based on the legal reason of our legitimate interest and in accordance with the data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (the “Law”), your personal data may be processed by Hersek Shipyard (the “Company”) within the scope described below.

  • Purpose of Processing Personal Data: Our facilities are monitored by CCTV systems to ensure security. This data is processed to ensure the legal, technical, and commercial security of the company and the persons associated with it, in accordance with the data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.
  • Transfer of Processed Personal Data: Your collected personal data may be lawfully transferred to authorized public institutions in line with the purposes stated above, within the framework of the data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law.
  • Method and Legal Basis of Collection: Your personal data is collected electronically via CCTV systems during your time at our facility, based on the legal reason of our legitimate interest and in accordance with the data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.

Your Rights Under Article 11 of the Law

As a data subject, you have the following rights under Article 11 of the Law:

  • To learn whether your personal data is processed or not.
  • To request information if your personal data has been processed.
  • To learn the purpose of processing your data and whether it is used appropriately.
  • To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad.
  • To request the correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed, and to request notification of this correction to third parties.
  • To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data when the reasons requiring its processing cease to exist, and to request notification of this action to third parties.
  • To object to the occurrence of a result against you by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems.
  • To request compensation for damages in case you incur damages due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.

Depending on the nature of your request, it will be answered as soon as possible and concluded within thirty days at the latest. If the transaction requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged to you according to the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
